Mary Maxine Perry

Mary Maxine Perry, 82, of Stoneham, died Saturday morning, May 12, 2012, at College Station Medical Center.

A celebration of her life was held 11:00 am Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at Lindley-Robertson-Holt Funeral Home. Interment followed in Plantersville Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Patrick Stacks, Kyle Corbit, Trygve Larson, Phillip McDaniel, John Poole and Susan Bagby.

Maxine was born February 4, 1930 in Star City, Arkansas to Ollie and Hazel Maxine Hunter Wilson. A former resident of Houston where she was an accountant for Hilton Hotels, Maxine has been a resident of Stoneham for the past 17 years. She enjoyed sewing and quilting, but most of all being a loving mother to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Maxine was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia Richardson, a son, Steven Wilson and a grandson, Billy Leggett.

Survivors include daughters, Kitti Titus, Susan Bagby, both of Stoneham, Deana Leggett and Pamela Hamlet; a son, Gary Richardson, all of Peyton, Colorado; a brother, W.O. "Bud" Wilson, Jr. of Judsonia, Arkansas; grandchildren, Jessica Leggett, Ashley Bleasdale, Jennifer Stacks and Keith Butcher and great grandchildren, Luke Stacks and Ashton and Johnathan Bleasdale.

You are the comfort of home, my courage in the world. Wishing you all the things that bring beauty into the world and joy into your heart. The love between family lasts forever.
